“My grandfather had a dream that his four little children would not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character,” she said to a while referencing MLK’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech, which he also delivered in D.C. “I have a dream that enough is enough, and that this should be a gun-free world. Period.”
The young activist also led the protestors in a chant: “Spread the word, have you heard, all across the nation, we are going to be a great generation.” Then, when they got the hang of it, she challenged them to “say it like you really, really mean it and the whole world can hear you.”
The D.C. rally, March For Our Lives, is just one of around 800 protests going on around the world. The protests were sparked by survivors of the Valentine’s Day school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida that left 17 dead. One of the survivors is 17-year-old, Jaclyn Corin, who stood and held Yolanda’s hand on stage as she gave her powerful speech.

Their song “Rolex” peaked at number 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100. In a recent interview on The Domenick Nati Showtoday, the duo discussed owning a rolex, their celebrity crushes, and more!
Of course since their popular song, “Rolex” was a major hit, some probably wondered if the company for Rolex had even considered contacting the duo for bringing them so much exposure. That question from Domenick of course brought a few laughs as they gave their response stating, “We wish…I think somebody with our management team reached out to them and that didn’t work out.”
With the increased rise of rap artist in the music industry, Ayo and Teo shared their thoughts on who they felt was the most underrated rapper out today.
“I swear this person is so underrated…..Roy Woods. He is a beast and he is very inspired by Michael Jackson. Just go look at Roy Woods one day.” -Ayo
Besides staying busy with their amazing abilities to bring attention to the art of dance, these two shared who they were crushing on in the entertainment industry. Teo shared that his celebrity crush is Cardi B and Ayo’s is Actress Madison Pettis. When asked if they would love to do a song with Cardi B if the opportunity came up. They stated,
“That would be lit, we can make an anthem out of that.”
Okay Cardi B, make sure you team up with these talented young guys for your next hit single.
Now just about every artist of course, has those in the music industry that they may admire or look up to. When it comes down to who these young men consider to be their top five rappers of all time, there was no hesitation in making that known.

Nothing shows success like topping the list with Forbes! Um…currently in need of some tips from Diddy at the moment since he is topping the list for being the highest paid musician! This man knows how to invest and make money!
Forbes has revealed its annual list of the highest-paid musicians, with artists including Coldplay, Beyonce, Diddy and Justin Bieber all among the top earners. Diddy [Sean Combs] was named the highest earner, raking in $130 million, with much thanks to his deal with Ciroc vodka, the sales of one-third of Sean John for $70 million, and a Bad Boy Family Reunion tour.
“I’m the average person,” Diddy told Forbes, rather hilariously, earlier this year. While he might not have started out that way of course, “I started looking at business at the age of 12, from delivering newspapers to working in gas station bathrooms, or even doing things like being a background dancer or a stylist,”he continued, and now he’s anything but average today, as his status at the top of Forbes’ annual world’s highest-paid musician list shows. In the top 5, Diddy who brought in $130 million is followed by Beyonce, Drake, The Weeknd and Coldplay.
The list is based on pretax income from June 1, 2016 through June 1, 2017, and does not subtract fees charged by agents, managers and lawyers. Data was gathered from Nielsen Music, Pollstar, the RIAA and industry insiders.

The National Anthem has become the topic of discussion this week after coaches and players protest on NFL Sunday by taking a knew during its singing across the league. Former San Francisco Quarterback Colin Kaepernick, has become a household name most notably for his kneeling during the singing of the National Anthem last year.
Colin Kaepernick’s protest has stirred up a lot of controversy starting last year and entering into this current season. Resulting, in outcries for a cultural ban of the NFL in the black community. We must first reiterate the reason why Colin took a knee protesting the flag in the first place. Last year the ex-NFL quarterback took a knee to protest the murdering of black males in America by police officers. This protest had nothing to do with Military veterans; this has everything to do with the unjust treatment of Blacks and Minorities in America.
This ongoing protest has drawn a lot of attention by the national media. Nick Cannon has always been vocal about social justice and equality. He joined members of the community in St. Louis, Missouri who were marching after Jason Stockley’s acquittal for killing Anthony Lamar Smith. These protests have been receiving more attention after POTUS stated “Get these sons of b****es off the field”.
I believe those remarks speak volume about the current state of the nation. I am not now nor will I ever be a fan of silent protest and marching. Protests, rallies, and marches are easily dismissed by the main stream media and very seldom taken seriously. When has this country ever stood up for the rights and freedoms of all its citizens? When has the concerns of the misrepresented or disenfranchised ever been addressed on a national scale?
This country’s very system of politics and government has been built off the oppression of the minority. We cannot forget the history of the country because history without fail will repeat itself. What is under scrutiny? The systematic mistreatment of not just the minority, but the voiceless majority is under protested. The rhetoric explaining the righteousness and honor of this American system is spread by those that have a voice of influence in the media and news.
The truth will never see the light of day when the liars of this system are controlling your access to information. It is not a person that we are warring against. Nor is it a group of people that we are in opposition to. American ideologies has conditioned people to justify the murder of unarmed civilians. It is the indoctrination of American people that is the true adversary.
The national attention that this protest is receiving can either be good or bad. It can either bring light to an existing problem or it can cause a further racial divide. One thing is for sure, the struggle for equality and justice continues. We as a people must realize the grave injustice that has struck this country.

I had a moment to speak to Sammie backstage and he mentioned that he had been knowing Tank for a while and that’s how he ended up being part of his tour. Sammie also told me that his new album had been in the works for a while now and of course just listening to it, you can tell he took time to master it. If you all have not got your copy of it yet then you definitely should.
Meanwhile, ladies of course went wild during Sammie’s performance! When he took off his shirt and started performing one of his prior mix-tape singles, “Wetter”, the atmosphere in the room got really steamy!
